Today I am going to tell you that how to save money on medicines and lab tests easily.

Instead of spending too much money as prescribed by your doctor, we can easily save money on medicines and lab tests. For that we just need to find the right substitute and ask our doctor to write that substitute instead of writing a costly medicine.

However finding a right substitute is not easy you can search many sites but you can’t trust on them.

Let’s get back to the question to save money on medicines we have two ways either to purchase generic medicines from Jan Aushadhi Stores or finding out the substitute and requesting the doctor to write the substitute.

On this page you will be able to find and search the medicine name which is available, however its little bit complicated and you might need help from the Jan Aushadhi Store people to let you know the correct medicine as we don’t know which salt is used in that medicine.

However If you look closely on Generic Name of the medicines you can see the salt used as well and you can check the medicine wrapper to see that if it matches.

You can easily search state wise or city wise, even you can contact them

Because I have seen even if you know the substitute the medical store people will not give you the medicine until and unless its prescribed by your doctor.

I basically use 1mg to find the right substitute and then I request the doctor to prescribe it and write on my medical paper, Which later on I purchase from any medical shop and save money.

There is a mobile app also available for 1mg which you can use.
