Today i am going tell you about how to increase internet speed browsing by a simple method or step.

Many people have high speed internet even the browsing speed is very slow for them. There can be many reasons and i have seen people commenting that my net speed is very slow even if they have great internet service providers.

They eventually do the broadband speed test and check internet speed. However they don’t know that there can be many reasons for high speed internet one of the are DNS servers.

DNS server are the first servers by which you connect when you connect to internet i mean when you put the website URL in any browser, You connect to DNS servers to get the location of your webserver.

How quickly your DNS servers responds that also is very important for your internet experience.

Although by default your internet service provider provides you DNS servers that automatically is chosen however you can easily change your DNS servers.

Currently Cloudflare has the fastest DNS servers, this is proven by “dnsperf“. As you can clearly see that the lowest query speed is for Cloudflare DNS servers as “Authoritative DNS provider” followed by digitalocean dns servers.

As “Public DNS Resolver” also cloudflare DNS server is fastest in the world. Followed by OpenDNS.

Now lets change DNS Servers.

Cloudflare DNS Servers IP : 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

Change DNS Server

  1. Open CMD by typing CMD on search
  2. Type “ncpa.cpl” and click enter
  3. A new window will open in which you will see your network cards.
  4. Right click on the network card and click on “Properties” which is showing connected meaning by which internet is connected.
  5. Now scroll down and click on “Internet protocol version 4” option and click on “Properties” below
  6. A new window will open and now select “Use the following DNS server addresses
  7. Now put Cloudflare DNS Servers 1.1.1.1 in preferred and 1.0.0.1 in alternate DNS server.
  8. Click OK  and then again ok to come out.
  9. Your DNS Servers are changed now.

Now you can enjoy the high speed internet connection.
