BHIM app basically BHIM is short form of Bharat Interface for Money and is an app that lets you make easy and quick payment transactions using UPI or we can say as it enable fast, secure, reliable cashless payments through your mobile phone. It’s much easier than wallets and money is transferred directly from your account to person account you are transferring to.

However as part of the new feature person can send money using Aadhar number easily like we used to send money on mobile number using this BHIM App.

Register your bank account with BHIM, and set a UPI PIN for the bank account. Your mobile number is your payment address (PA), and you can simply start transacting. Yes! It is that simple.

Transactions are complete within seconds.

There are no charges on transferring money only charges are taken by your bank.

Money can also be sent to non UPI supported banks using IFSC and MMID

You can check your bank balance and transactions details on the go.

You can scan a QR code for faster entry of payment addresses. Merchants can easily print their QR Code for display.

We can even check if my aadhar number is linked to which bank account easily by one of the USSD code as mentioned below:

*99*99#

After entering above code it will ask for two options, just type 1 for Aadhar Number.
Enter the Aadhar number and confirm it when it asks then in answer it will show you which bank account is linked to your Aadhar card.
