1. Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana will be extended now in non-Government colleges too. Currently, this scheme has been implemented in 450 Government colleges of the State. Now 800 private colleges will also be included in the scheme

2. Mukhya Mantri Tirth Darshan Yojana informed that about 5 lakh 26 thousand old age pilgrims have been benefited till now.

3. Niti Aayog has envisaged a New India by 2022 which will be free from poverty, dirt, corruption, terrorism, casteism and communalism.

4. Asset management company Brookfield Infrastructure has called off its earlier pact with Reliance Communications (RCom) worth $200 million, since deal between RCOM and Aircel has been called off.

5. As per TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) :Reliance Communications (RCom) will shut down voice call service from December 1 and its customers can move to other networks by the end of the year

6. World Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kristalina Georgieva said a jump of that nature is very rare, talking about rank in ease of doing business report. India to be high middle income economy by 2047

1. Junaid Ahmed , Country Director, World Bank , says by “hitting the century” and touching 100 in Global Ease of Doing Business ranking, India basically says we are now competing to be one of the best where businesses can come in.

2. Price of subsidised Cooking gas cylinder in the country has been hiked by Rs 4.50(Rs 495.69 now) and that of non-subsidised gas cylinder has been hiked by Rs 93 (742 Rs now). With this hike brought in by oil companies, the price of 14 kg subsidy cylinder became Rs 495.69. Formerly, it was Rs 491.13.
19 kg cylinder for commercial purposes was hiked by Rs 146, costing Rs 1268 per cylinder.

3. Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana: 3 cr LPG connections already issued, Oil Ministry seeks to serve another 3 cr beneficiaries. Additional grant of Rs 4,800 crore over and above the already budgeted Rs 8,000 crore to issue 3 crore additional connections, on top of the 5 crore targeted earlier

Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the continuation of Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) as Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana – Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied sector Rejuvenation (RKVY-RAFTAAR) for three years, 2017-18 to 2019-20.

1. GoM suggests making GST inclusion in MRP mandatory, also suggested lowering the fees for delayed filing of returns to Rs 50 a day from Rs 100. Panel also pitched for extending the quarterly filing of returns facility to all taxpayers.
Businesses with turnover of up to Rs 1.5 crore are allowed to file returns and pay taxes every quarter.
